Amy has worked in dentistry for over sixteen years and is a qualified and highly experienced Dental Therapist and Facial Aesthetician, having trained in the military and several dental hospitals including Sheffield University, Birmingham Dental Hospital and Harley Street. She was named as Dental Therapist of the Year at the Dental Awards 2018, and was also nominated for this same award in the upcoming 2019 awards, as well as her practice being named as a finalist for Practice of the Year.
After serving 5 years in the Royal Navy, Amy worked in dental practices across the UK and abroad. She also worked alongside top ENT and plastic surgeons in maxillofacial theatres and then moved into private dentistry in the Cotswolds. This has given her both experience and a deeper understanding of facial anatomy, which is key when carrying out treatments effectively.
Amy has undergone an array of postgraduate training in cosmetic restorative dentistry and Periodontal Disease. Her particular interests are performing white cosmetic fillings, dental bonding and composite veneers. Amy has trained with two of the leading Dental Surgeons in Dental Bonding in London and Dubai.
Alongside her work in dentistry, Amy has run her successful anti-ageing facial business for the past eight years. She has trained to the highest level in all facial aesthetics with some of the world’s leading professors. Amy now specialises in facial aesthetics to an advanced level. Utilising her vast knowledge of facial anatomy she is now a qualified trainer of facial aesthetics. She is praised for her empathetic and gentle approach and has a keen interest in treating the more anxious of patients.
Amy is highly commended in the world of Facial Aesthetics. In 2018 she was shortlisted at Dr Bob Khanna’s International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics Awards in the category of Best Total Facial Sculpting. In 2019, she won Best Full-Face Treatment and Best Skin Rejuvenation at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards, as well as being nominated for a finalist in four other categories, including Best Aesthetic Practice.
Dr Kiri-Gabriella Anderson
Dr Kiri-Gabriella Anderson qualified in Dental Surgery in the North-East. Originally from Wakefield, she has now returned to Yorkshire to join the Whitehills team.
She is dedicated to continual learning and, having attended numerous courses to develop her skills in all aspects of general dental care, is now pursuing a diploma in Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. She is a caring and compassionate dentist who loves helping people to feel confident in their smile again, especially those who have worn their teeth down.
Kiri has an artistic eye for smile design and likes to use a minimally invasive approach, such as composite bonding, to keep the teeth as strong and natural looking as possible. she has trained in various techniques of composite bonding including the modern method of Bioclear which gives a stronger and more aesthetic build, and is great for closing spaces between the teeth. she can also straighten teeth with fixed short-term braces and Invisalign.
Kiri can also provide Cerezen, a small in-ear device that can relieve headaches, jaw pain and excessive clenching; the signs and symptoms of TMD.
